Timesheet Showing More Time Than The Employee Logged

Timesheet Showing More Time Than The Employee Logged

Description of Issue

Employee timesheet showing over 2700 hours in the previous period and 7400 in the current period. This is a 2 week period and should not reflect this much time.

Context
  • Timesheet
  • Transaction Audit
  • Employee Time Maintenance
Cause

After reviewing the Transaction audit there were many 24 hour entries indicating that the employee was not clocked out for days at a time. This was causing the hours to continue to add up.

Resolution

The 24 hour entries will need to manually be removed from the Employee Time Maintenance screen.

  1. Filter the employee in question in the Employee Filter
  2. Select System Admin
  3. Select Employee Time Maintenance
  4. Select (minus)  to remove the 24 hour time entries
