Hours Do Not Line Up On The Employee Timecard

Description of Issue

The employee worked 1.00 hour from start/end. However, it displays that they worked a total of 3.00 hours.

Cause

The pay code was enabled to have Minimum Logged Amount (Hours) 3.00



Resolution

  1. Login with admin rights

  2. Navigate to System Admin → Master File Management → Pay Codes

  3. Click the pencil icon for the pay code in question

  4. Scroll down to Additional Settings and review what Minimum Logged Amount (Hours) is set to.

  5. If set to 0.00, this will take what the start/end time will equal

  6. If set to 3.00, this will display the start/end time but equal 3.00 in the total column.
