Mass Update Employees Password To Employee ID

Description of Issue

We would like to default all ET passwords to Employee ID is this possible?

Cause

Resolution

Specifically for EERP clients this can be mass updated through the Employee Mapping Table:

First locate the Employee Mapping Table:

  1. Navigate to System Configuration 

  2. Select Admin

  3. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click Employee Mapping Table 

 Once looking at the Employee Mapping Table, follow the steps below: 

  1. Locate Password under the Time & Attendance Field Name

  2. Set the Time & Attendance Data Type to String 

  3. Leave the populate filed with default value blank

  4. Set the Update this field to Yes

  5. Set the Update for Rehires to No 

  6. Under the Payroll System Field name type employeeNumber 

  7. Set the Payroll System Data Type to String 

  8. Select Save at the bottom of this screen 

Once this has been saved navigate to: 

  1. System Configuration 

  2. Select Tyler Integration 

  3. Select the box arrow to manually run job 4 (Employee Integration) 

  4. Select Only Run Job 

Once this job is done running, log out of the application and log back in. The passwords should now all be the employee ID.
