Maximum Benefit Time Exceeded You Have Zero Hours Available Error for Comp Time

Description of Issue

Comp time earned pay code is not allowing employees to add hours. Time and Attendance is displaying a system message: Maximum benefit time exceeded. You have zero hours available.  

Context

  • Time & Attendance

  • Comp Time Earned 

Cause

The child pay code was marked as an accrued benefit when it should not have been.

Resolution

  1. Select System Admin

  2. Select Master File Management

  3. Select Pay Codes

  4. Select the pencil for the code in question

  5. Under Benefit Settings → Benefit field

  6. Select from dropdown No

  7. Select Save
