Printing W-2-No records found

Description of Issue

When attempting to print one W-2 record as a test, an error appears at the bottom of the screen after clicking Print W-2 Records

  • W-2 and 1099-R Processing

  • W-2 Forms Print

  • W-2 Wizard

Cause

Employee number defined on the Employees to Include Tab does not have an associated W-2 record.

Resolution

If using W-2 Wizard:

  1. Navigate to Payroll>W-2 and 1099-R Processing>W-2 Wizard

  2. Click Print step

  3. Click Employees to Include tab

  4. Update Employee Number range to include valid Employee Number

  5. Click Print W-2s Tab.

  6. Click Print W-2s

If using W-2 Forms Print

  1. Navigate to Payroll>W-2 and 1099-R Processing>W-2 Forms Print

  2. Click Define > enter the W-2 Year > click Accept

  3. Click Define

  4. Enter a valid Employee number range

  5. Click Accept

  6. Click Print
