Salary Analysis Report showing zeroes for all Job Classes

Description of Issue

When running the Salary Analysis Report for a range of Job Classes, the results under Minimum, Maximum, Median and Average all show as 0.00, but there is a positive number under Count indicating there are employees assigned to the defined Job Classes.

Cause

The report was defined using Salary Type option Annual Pay, but the employees in the Job Classes defined do not have an Annual Pay defined. 

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Search for Active Employees and Job Class with Current Search Period.

  4. Click Accept.

  5. Note the values used for employees' pay rates.

    1. Example, base pay is a Calc Code 01, and the employees in this Job Class only have an Hourly Rate defined. 

  6. Navigate to Human Capital Management>Human Resources>Employee Job/Pay Classification>Salary Analysis Report.

  7. Click Define.

  8. Choose Hourly Pay or Period Pay from Salary Option dropdown, depending on findings in Job/Salary.

    1. Example from above, use Hourly Pay.

  9. Click Accept. 

  10. Click PDF or other Output option to review results.
