Modify beginning cash amount

Description of Issue

User is unable to change the beginning cash amount for Cashiering batches.

Context

Cause

Beginning cash was entered incorrectly.

Resolution

User needs permission to modify the batch beginning cash amount. A user with administrator permissions can make the permission change to allow this.

  1. Cashiering > Administration > Users 

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit desired user

  3. Under the Permissions tab in the Settlement section, toggle on Can modify beginning cash

  4. Save changes
