Import is not end dating the pay type record and it is not showing any errors

Description of Issue

Not able to end date pay record via import. Import processes and no error shows on the Proof, but the End Date is not being inserted on the record. 

Context

Cause

Effective Date was not included in Template or import file. The program is not able to identify which record to end date.

Resolution

Add another column for the record start date and reimport it again.

  1. Open Import file. Add column for Effective Date and populate with correct data. Save file. 

  2. Navigate to Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Import. 

    1. Add new Template.

      1. Click Custom Templates.

      2. Select Employee Pay Import and click OK.

      3. Click Add Template. 

      4. Define Template creation screen.

      5. Click Browse to pull in updated file.

      6. Click Upload.

      7. Use white arrows to populate Column Headers as necessary. 

      8. Click Save.

    2. Edit existing Template.

      1. Click Custom Templates.

      2. Select Employee Pay Import and click OK.

      3. Locate template and click View.

      4. Click Upload. 

        1. It is not necessary to pull in the updated file.

      5. Use white arrows to add or change Column Headers to match updated file.

      6. Click Save.
