Resolution

There are options when it comes to these old report files. These files can be automatically mass deleted, manually deleted or moved/archived where a site chooses and this presents different paths to resolution below.

Mass Delete Option

  1. In the Saved Reports program, click Search
  2. In the Report File Name field, enter the program name mentioned in the error message (usually an 8-letter string) followed by an asterisk and click Accept
    1. Ex:  rfreport*
  3. Click Mass Delete Reports
  4. Click Select All
  5. Click Accept
  6. In the Confirm Purge pop-up window, click Yes, Purge

Manual Delete or Archive Option within the server and Munis Administration

  1. Locate the files on the server usually located on the main drive \musys\spool_Prod or \musys\spool_Live
  2. The specific files needing to be removed or archived generally have a program name mentioned in the error message (usually an 8-letter string) followed by an asterisk and click Accept
    1. Ex:  rfreport*
  3. To Archive the files
    1. Create a new folder as an archive location
    2. Select all the applicable files for the program name above
    3. Right-click and select Move to move the files to this new site-named folder
  4. To Delete the files
    1. Select all the applicable files for the program name above
    2. Right-click and select Delete to remove all files in the original folder
  5. From the Munis Menu, navigate to System Administration>Printer / Device Administration>Saved Reports.
  6. Click Reset Spool Directory which will command Munis to sync with the directory where the files were just deleted or archived into another folder

If a site is hosted by our SaaS Hosting team, a case can be submitted to assist with this if a site would like to go with the above option.
