How to Release a Refund Created by Another User

How to release a refund created by another user. 
Context

Cause

A user needs to output/release a refund created by another user. 

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Bill Refund Processing either by searching or using the following menu path: Munis > General Revenues > Payment Processing > Bill Refund Processing
  2. Click Access Recs in the toolbar.
  3. Hit the radio button that reads Process another user's refund records.
  4. Enter the user name of the user who created the refund that needs to be released.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Enter the AR Category, Bill Year, and Bill Number of the refund record that needs to be released. If all refunds need to be released, do not enter any information, just click Accept.
  7. If the refund amount and customer being issues the refund is correct, click Output-Rel from the top ribbon. 
  8. Choose the radio button for Selected to release the refund in Bill Refund Processing 
  9. Enter a AR and GL effective date
  10. Enter a GL Year and Period
  11. Click Accept 
  12. Make selections to create an Export File or Munis AP Batch if desired. 
  13. Click Accept
  14. A message will appear that reads Refund batch released. 
  15. Click OK.
