Description of Issue

  • Can I change the payment method on a posted invoice?

  • Posted invoice as EFT instead of normal



Context

Modify Invoices

Cause

Payment method of AP invoice can not be modified after posting. This is by design.



Resolution

The ability to update the payment method on an invoice is not currently available. 

  1.  Invoice has to be voided or deleted in Modify Invoices 

  2. Rekey invoice in Invoice Entry with correct payment method

*If this invoice has been paid, follow steps below first then return to steps 1 and 2 above

  1. Void the check and post cash for the void with the same date it was issued to Cash Disbursements Journal
