Description of Issue

An error occurred adding a tender: Cannot process as payment_type debit 

Context

  • Tyler Cashiering 

  • Allow Debit Pin 

  • Tender Type

  • Credit Card

  • Debit Card

Cause

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Tyler Cashiering< Administration< Tender Types

  2. Click the pencil next to the credit card

  3. Click the Advanced Tab

  4. Turn-On Allow Debit Pin

  5. Turn-On Card Not Present

  6. Click Save 

  7. Refresh Tyler Cashiering
