Maximum Benefit Hours Error

Description of Issue

Receiver error when trying to add accrued benefit pay code to timesheet.  Maximum Benefit Hours Exceeded: You have 0 Hours available.

Cause

Resolution

Steps to resolve is changing the maximum accrued balance from 0 

  1. Login to Time & Attendance with System Admin access

  2. Click System Admin 

  3. Click Master File Management

  4. Click Pay Properties

  5. Click the Pencil Icon for the pay code in question (Verify which is the parent pay code, this can viewed in Benefit Summary)

  6. Verify that Maximum Accrued Balance (Hours) is set to 0 and change it to a high number

  7. Click Save

Verify that the pay code can now be added to the necessary entry.
