SSRS Reports are not consistent in what kind of access they use to populate pay code dropdowns

Description of Issue

Supervisor is unable to see the pay codes in the list on reports even though they have access on the pay code.

Context
  • ExecuTime

  • SSRS Reports

  • Consecutive Pay Code Usage Report

Cause

SSRS Reports use Authority Access:

Authority access is what is typically applied whenever you are going to add or edit master file records.  This type of access checks to see if the logged in user has access (granted by the user role) to all items that are applied as access rules of the item you are trying to edit.  If the security role denies access to any one of these org units, then the user would not be able to edit the master file record.
