• Using the Global Update function in Account Master and getting following error:

  • Some selected accounts could not be closed because of current activity, print the prelist to see each account

• Where is the prelist located and how do I view it?

Financials> General Ledger> Set up/Chart of Accounts> Account Master

1. Search for the range of accounts that you are applying a global update to

2. Click the List function in the ribbon

3. Select Output options (print, display, pdf)

4. Click OK

This will generate a list of all accounts in the find set that have current year activity on them
