Fall 2023 MI REP Data Field Descriptions Manual includes new Education Settings

The MI Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) added new codes for grade level.  How do we update so MI REP Report has the correct data to pull from?

The Descriptions changed for Grade Level, but not the codes.

• Special Education Age Group 3 – 5 years of age is now Special Education Age Group 3 – 5 years of age (Not in Kindergarten) and remains Code 0000000000000003000000

• Special Education Age Group 6 – 21 years of age is now Special Education Age Group 5 (In Kindergarten) – 21 years of age and remains Code 0000000000000004000000

If an employee was previously Special Education Age Group 3 – 5 years of age and now needs to be reported as Special Education Age Group 5 (In Kindergarten) – 21 years of age:

Select the Spec Educ 6-21 yrs option in the Special Education drop down on the MI REP Employee Assignments program screen and the employee will report 0000000000000004000000 in Field 10 of the MI REP Report.

The Descriptions will be addressed in a future version under (master) work ticket MUN-471639.
