Tyler Deploy Fails with the Media is Write Protected

Description of Issue

When attempting to run an update or run the check prerequisites task in Tyler Deploy, it fails with the following error:

The media is write protected.

Context

  • Tyler Deploy

  • System Administration

  • Configuration

Cause

A drive on the server is set to read only mode.

Resolution

On-site IT will have to remove the read only mode from the drive impacted. 

Additional Information

Drives should NOT be set to read only mode as this causes issues for updates being ran via Tyler Deploy as well as with Tyler related programs.
