Unable to Edit Role Names In Time And Attendance

Description of Issue

When attempting to update the Role description when selecting Save it does not show my updated description.

Context
  • Time & Attendance 

  • Role Name

  • System Admin

  • Security and Permissions

  • ExecuTime 

  • Version 2018

Cause

When attempting to save the Role on the 2018 version, it is required that  each tab is saved instead of saving and navigating back to main screen.

Resolution

In order to update the Role name and/or description, select Save at the bottom of each tab on the role in question. 

  1. Select System Admin

  2. Select Security and Permissions 

  3. Select the Pencil for the role in question

  4. Modify the role name and/or description as needed  

  5. Select Save at the bottom of the Menu Access Tab 

  6. Select Save at the bottom of the Data Access Tab

  7. Select Save at the bottom of the Other Tab

  8. Select Save at the bottom of the Notifications Tab 

Additional Information

Versions above 2018 do not have to save all the way through these tabs. It's required to only click Save one time on the Menu Access Tab.
