A fatal error has occurred in pmposreq when clicking +1 on Request Number

Description of Issue

Upon adding a new request form in Position/Budget Request Form, clicking +1 results in an error followed by a program crash.

A FATAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED IN: pmposreq

Context

Cause

The Default Numbers Next Position/Budget Request has a request number that was previously used in Position/Budget Request form.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Payroll Control Settings

    1. EERP > Human Capital Management > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Payroll Control Settings

  2. Scroll down to find and select Default Numbers Next Position/Budget Request

  3. Click Accept

  4. Click Update in the tool bar

  5. Update the Value field to a value that has not been used
