Business License Bill date changes

Description of Issue

Business License bills created with the wrong dates including Bill date, Due date, Interest date and Penalty dates

Context

  • Bill Adjustments - General Maintenance 

Cause

This is generally a mistake during initial billing when incorrect dates are entered into the date fields or the Cycle Dates within Cycle Codes have not been copied to the new year prior to billing. 

Resolution

Navigate to the Bill Adjustments program and click General Maint

  1. Property Revenues > Business Licenses > Collection Processing > Bill Adjustments 

  2. If applicable, select Licenses or Taxes

  3. Click the G - General Maint button in the ribbon

  4. Search

  5. Enter Year and Bill number

  6. Accept or Enter

  7. Update

  8. Change the bill dates as needed

  9. Accept or Enter to Save
