Apply a Credit to a TPAR Account

Description of Issue
  • Citizen paid over the invoiced amount, and the rest must be applied as an account credit.

  • Transaction was accidentally voided instead of refunded to account credit.

  • A discount or resident rate must be applied retroactively.

Cause

Resolution

Create a case with Parks & Rec Support and upload the following information:

  • Transaction records proving a credit must be applied.

  • The name of the contact that the credit must be applied to.

  • Exported System Logs.

Additional Information

Credit can be applied via the database, however this balance will not appear on the Contact Record page. It does appear when the citizen signs into the Portal, and it is available during new transactions.
