Description of Issue

Journal Import Pre-Edit Error when Custom Template and Excel file

ERROR
Program stopped at 'ExcelConversionService.4gl', line number 112.
FORMS statement error number -15549.
HTTP runtime exception: Bad MIME in Content-Type



Context

Cause

Excel data formatting issue conflict with Munis



Resolution

Copy the existing import file and paste into a new excel document.

  1. Open original import file in Excel

  2. Select box at position 0,0 in the upper right hand side corner to select all columns and rows

  3. Copy selected data

  4. Open a New Excel file

  5. Select box at position 0,0 in the upper right hand side corner to select all columns and rows

  6. Right Click mouse and select paste option (Paste Values Only)

  7. Save file with a file name

  8. Attempt import with new file

Open custom template option in Journal Import to view and browse the Excel file when it tries to load the true error will display why file has an incompatibility with Munis
