Description of Issue

User is attempting to delete a fund and receives the error

Program stopped at 'glcoaseg.4gl', line number 3070.

SQL statement error number -6372 (-50000).

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_BudgetProjectionFunds_Segments". The conflict occurred in database "mun5201prod", table "dbo.BudgetProjectionFunds", column 'SegmentId

Context

  • Chart of Accounts Segments

  • Chart Manager

Cause

Fund is included in an existing budget projection

Resolution

The fund may be removed from the budget projection so long as the projection has not been posted.

Financials > Budget Processing > Define/Start Budget Projection

  1. Search for the projection

  2. Update

  3. Click the folder icon in the Projection fund(s) textbar

  4. Update

  5. Uncheck the fund being deleted

  6. Accept

  7. Back

  8. Accept

  9. Attempt to delete the fund once more
