In-Place upgrade

Enterprise ERP is installed in the existing environments on the existing server(s). The Test environment is upgraded first over 2 days. There is no downtime for a Test Upgrade. A Cut to Live will need to be scheduled for 2 additional days. During these 2 days all users need be out of the system.

Server Migration

Enterprise ERP is installed in parallel environments on new server(s). The server migration will not impact the current environments on the existing server(s).  There is no downtime for a Test Upgrade. The testing will be done in the Production (PROD) environment of the new server.  Existing environments will not be upgraded. A Cut to Live will need to be scheduled for 2 additional days that will point all traffic to the new servers and migrate the most recent data. During these 2 days all users need be out of the system.
