Workflow approvals not updating - Invalidate Time Card



Description of Issue

When attempting to approve timecards, supervisor enters in initials, selects approve, screen refreshes and the time card remains unapproved or partially approved.

Cause



Resolution

In order to complete the approvals, is to invalidate the time card.

  1. Select Supervisor Actions

  2. Select Time Approvals

  3. Search for employee in question → Uncheck My Pending Approvals

  4. Click Add new clock in/out entry

  5. Create entry (make sure it falls into the correct pay period) and click save

  6. Once timecard refreshes delete the new entry by selecting the (minus) icon

  7. Select Approval type to Employee, initial, Select Approve & Submit

  8. Select Approval type Approver, initial, Select Approve

Verify that the approval checks are both green.
