System ArgumentNullException Value cannot be null

Installing or launching Tyler Cashiering Hardware Console returns error System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.

Error can be caused by various factors to take into consideration as each client is unique with their local technical systems setup. Most commonly found are:

• Group Policy Updates

• Workstation in a Active Directory container that restricts the application

• Antivirus software flagging the HWC as malicious

Please contact your local IT team to investigate and remediate the error as this is not a Tyler Cashiering error, rather local to where the environment the HWC is installed on.

As a test the HWC installer can be installed on machine that is not part of the client's business environment such as their local home computer or laptop that is isolated away from the clients business environment.
