Add secondary balancing to existing fund

• User set up fund without secondary balancing level defined

• Field can no longer be modified after adding fund

• Fund is complete and has some posted transactions

• The secondary balancing level in General Ledger settings is set to Defined By Fund

• User is expecting to be able to define the secondary balancing level field

• Fund was set up with incorrect secondary balanceing level defined

• Updating the secondary balancing on an existing fund

• Chart of Account Segments

• Secondary Balancing

• Defined by Fund

Fund was setup incorrectly

• If no transactions have been posted, the Fund can be deleted and readded: Unable to change secondary balancing level field in Chart of Account Segments - Fund must be deleted first

• If there are transactions on the Fund, please contact MUNIS General Ledger Support

• After secondary balancing is added the DTDF from records for the fund will need to be reviewed and possibly updated or created.
