How to create a custom Time Entry Report



Description of Issue

Customer would like a report for Time Entry with specific options that are not available in the preset report options.

Cause




Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Processing>Time Entry.

  2. Click Custom Reports in tool bar.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Populate name and description for report.

  5. Use drop down menus to choose Field options for report.

  6. Use Size field to indicate the number of characters necessary for each option.

    1. Example: 6 characters for Employee Numbers

    2. Program will auto-populate a standard amount but it can be overridden

  7. Choose Sort and Subtotal options.

  8. Click Accept.

  9. Click Back.

  10. In Time Entry, Search for batch and click Accept.

  11. Click PDF.

  12. Under Options dropdown, choose new Custom Report.

  13. Click Accept.
