Workflow Business Rules is skipping Step

When processing a New Hire, the ATA Workflow Business Rules for Step 30 is bypassed and goes straight to Step 40.

The Location defined on the Job Openings and Workflow Business Rules records does not match the Location defined on the Position Control record.

Navigate to Job Openings

1. EERP > Human Capital Management >Recruiting > Job Openings

2. Search on Requisition and note the Location

Navigate to Workflow Business Rules

1. EERP > System Administration > Workflow Administration > Workflow Business Rules

2. Search on Process code (e.g. ATA) and note the Location

Navigate to Position Control

1. EERP > Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Position Control and Budgeting > Position Control

2. Search on Position and note the Location 

   1. Compare the Location from the Job Openings and Workflow Business Rules programs to the one defined in Position Control

3. Update the Location field in Position Control to match those programs

• In Job Openings, if a Position is listed under the Positions section, then Workflow Business Rules will pull the Location from Position Control. If no Position is listed, rather Location is defined on the Job Opening, then Workflow Business Rules will pull the Location from Job Openings.
