Update Remaining Number in Job Salary from Payroll

I would like to know how the Employee Job Salary, Remain number is updated when Payroll is processed.
In Payroll> Payroll Start and Status> Generate Earnings and Deductions, the checkbox Decrement Remaining Pays must be checked off.Â
When Pay Code in Payroll> Employee Maintenance> Employee Job Salary, on Cycles/Other Tab has Encumbered set to "YES", and Employee is in Payroll> Earnings and Deductions with an Amount on an Encumbered Pay, when Employee Update step of payroll is processed, the Remain number is reduced in Job Salary.Â
If you Reverse the Employee Update step of the Payroll, the Remain Number reverts back if the Employee is in Payroll with an Amount on a pay that is Encumbered.Â
The Remain Number in Job Salary does not change when Employee Update is processed if the Employee has no Amounts on Encumbered Pays in the Payroll. Â
