No Edit option for the Marital Status field in ESS Personal Information

Description of Issue

User does not see an option to edit the Marital Status field in ESS Personal Information under the Demographics tab.

Cause

The Martial Status option is Enabled - Full Access, but the Demographics is Enabled - Inquiry Only. The Demographics option appears to be causing no edit option for the Marital Status field.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Settings under ESS Home > Administration > Employee Administration > Application Administration

  2. Set the access for Demographics and Marital Status to Enabled - Full Access

Additional Information

  • This permission was added because Marital Status was moved outside of the Demographics tab. This field is still subject to the Demographics permission as well as the Marital Status one.
