User not added to business rule is displaying in list of approvers for that business rule in a journal released into workflow

Description of Issue

User not added to business rule as an approver or not added to a role assigned to the business rule is showing in the Approvers list for that business rule in a posted or unposted journal.

Cause

User was removed from the business rule or from a role assigned to the business rule after the journal was released into workflow

Resolution

Make a change to the journal that requires workflow to restart from the beginning and re-release the journal into workflow. 

If the journal is already posted, the list of approvers for the business rule cannot be updated to remove that user from the list. 

Additional Information

Changes of any kind made to a business rule after the business rule has been triggered in the workflow approvals for a journal do not get applied to the workflow for that journal.Â
