ESS Hosting Web Service Root URL Request Timed Out

Within ESS hosting client configuration page, test connection for the web service root URL generates a request timed out error.

• Employee Self Service (ESS)

• EERP (Munis)

Web service root URL is incorrect.

• Update the Web service root URL to the correct EERP web service URL specified for the environment:

  • Ex. https://FQDN/prod/munis/gas/svc/ws/r/mugws/

• Click Test Connection to verify successful connection:

  • If successful a message will populate with a green check mark stating Connection was made to https://FQDN/prod/munis/gas/svc/ws/r/mugws/.

• Scroll down and click Update Client
