Determining the adequate length of time for testing a newer version of EERP
For major version releases at least one month is suggested for users to complete testing before upgrading Production environments.
A major version release for example would be v2019 to v2021 or v2020 to v2024
For minor updates and quarterly releases, two weeks is suggested for users to complete testing before updating Production environments.
A minor version release for example would be v2021.12.0.678 to v2021.12.0.682
A quarterly release for example would be v2021.11 to v2021.12 or v2021.12 to v2024.1
Users should login to the new environment in a non-prod environment and attempt to perform their normal daily functions as part of testing.Â
If any errors or problems are encountered during testing please submit a ticket to support for further troubleshooting.
