Preparing for Time and Attendance Upgrade

Description of Issue

What needs to be done in advance for a Time and Attendance Upgrade?

  • Time and Attendance v2019.1+

Cause

Currently on version 2019.1 or greater and upgrading to a higher version of Time and Attendance.

Resolution

This upgrade could potentially be a significant change to your Tyler Workflow processes based on your current Workflow version.

Versions 2019.1 and greater contain Tyler Workflow. It is recommended that you prepare for this upgrade by completing any current approvals that have been initiated. Any in-progress approvals may need to be restarted by invalidating the timecard or resetting to pending status if the approvals become idle due to the upgrade. 

Version 2021.1.2 adds Sequential Step Workflow Approval functionality. You will need to make changes to your workflow post upgrade.
