You do not have permission to manage backflow prevention



Description of Issue

Attempting to open a Backflow program will display a pop-up message: You do not have permission to manage backflow prevention.



Context
  • Munis

  • Utility Billing

  • UBCIS

  • Backflow



Cause

The user does not have the necessary permissions enabled.



Resolution
  1. Navigate to System Administration > Security > User Attributes

  2. Search for the user

  3. Single-click the user's role and click Edit Role

  4. Click Property Revenues > Utility Billing > CIS

  5. Click Update

  6. Check the Backflow management box

  7. Clicked Accept

  8. Click Back until the Roles program is closed

  9. Navigate back to the Backflow programs; the user should now have access
