Reason Code Defined Workflow Business Rules

Description of Issue

Personnel Actions defined for the PMB Workflow Business Rule by Reason Code are not following the intended workflow.

Context
  • Enterprise ERP

  • EERP

  • Human Capital Management

  • Personnel Actions Entry

  • System Administration

  • Workflow Business Rules

Cause

When creating Personnel Actions intended to follow the Reason Code-defined-Workflow Business Rule, the Reason Code field in Personnel Actions Entry is not being defined. Without the Reason Code being defined the system will be unable to direct the action to follow the Reason code defined workflow.

Resolution

When processing actions intended to follow the desired Reason Code-defined-workflow, the Reason Code  must be defined in Personnel Actions Entry when creating the Personnel Action.
