Determine when your Accrual End of Year date is in correspondence with your Payroll Period.
- If the End of Accrual Year date is any date within the Payroll Period Start and End dates, define that date in the End of Accrual Year field.
- Example, the Payroll Period is 12/26 to 1/9.
- The End of Accrual Year date is 12/31, then 12/31 should be defined in the End of Accrual Year field.
- If the End of Accrual Year date is 1/9, then 1/9 should be defined in the End of Accrual Year field.
- Example, the Payroll Period is 12/26 to 1/9.
- The Employee Update will need to be processed prior to the Accrual Year End Processing.
- Go to Accrual Year End Processing. (Payroll>Accrual Processing>Accrual Year End Processing)

- TAB through and define applicable fields.Â
- Define the Last Day of Accrual Year field. Hit TAB key. The Start of New Accrual Year field will automatically populate with the following day.Â
- Define remaining fields. Click Accept. Click Output Post. Review Proof report for accuracy.Â
- Prompt will as if you want to apply updates. Click Yes.Â
*NOTE - Make sure to review the define screen closely, once you have posted, there is no way to un-do this process*
Once the Accrual End of Year is processed:
- Do the Accrual Update if applicable.Â
- Go back into your Payroll. (Payroll>Payroll Processing>Payroll Start and Status)
- Click on the Print Payroll Advices step to print the advices.Â
- Continue through the payroll as you typically would.
