Cause
Resolution
To view and/or edit this setting:
- Go to Payroll>Payroll Setup>Payroll Control Settings
- Click on the line for Category and Label General-Current Payroll Fiscal Year. Click Accept.
- To update, click Update and change the Value to the correct year. Click Accept.
- The Current Payroll Fiscal Year controls which set of Calendar records are active.
- Each calendar record is tied to a defined Fiscal Year. In order for that calendar to be active, that given Fiscal Year must be defined in the Payroll Control Setting.
- This setting also controls the Fiscal Year that populates within Payroll Start and Status.
- If using Fiscal Year Accumulators and tracking deduction limits based on Fiscal Year, the correct Fiscal Year needs to be defined on the Payroll Start and Status screen.
Additional Information
NOTE -The Current Payroll Fiscal Year setting should only be updated after finishing the final payroll for the prior fiscal year.
