Description of Issue

When running the Close Current Fiscal Year program, the following error occurs:

WARNING!

Open invoices may not exist when closing the current fiscal year



Context

  • General Ledger

  • Year End Close

  • Close Current Fiscal Year



Cause

This error occurs if there are any open Invoices in the year that you are trying to close



Resolution

  • In order to locate the Invoice(s), please run the General Ledger Table Validation:

Financials>General Ledger Menu>End Of Period>General Ledger Table Validation

  • Unposted invoices in the year that is being closed will need to be posted or deleted



Additional Information

Please note: only Invoices from the year that you are trying to close will have to be taken care of in order to complete the Close Current Fiscal Year program
