How to add pay codes into the category folder of the pay master?

Cause


Resolution

For Munis v2018.1 and higher:

  1. Access the Pay Master (Human Resources/Payroll > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Pay Master)
  2. Search for the Pay that needs additional pay types to be added into the category folder
  3. Click Update
  4. Click the Assign Pay types icon next to the Category field
  5. Click Update
  6. Click Add
  7. Enter the pay type
  8. Click Accept
  9. Click Back
  10. Click Accept

For Munis v11.3:

  1. Access the Pay Master (Human Resources/Payroll > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Pay Master)
  2. Search for the Pay that needs additional pay types to be added into the category folder
  3. Click Update
  4. Click the yellow folder icon next to the Category field
  5. Click Add
  6. Enter the pay type
  7. Click Accept
  8. Click Return
  9. Click Accept
