Error selecting adjustment record for bill when GL posting tax corrections

I get an error message when trying to GL post tax corrections

Error Message: Error posting corrections to GL: txgnarsebu_singleGenerateAR: Error selecting adjustment record for bill: AR category: XX, year: XXXX, charge: XXXXXXXX

During the posting process. the data behind the scenes is not properly cleaned up in the system, but the adjustment is posted and the General Ledger updated.
