Reverse journals created by a Chargeback Work Order

How do you reverse journals created by a Chargeback Work Order?

The Journal and Post Reversal program provides the ability to reverse journals that were created with the Journal and Post program

1. Click Define

2. Enter the appropriate information for the journal to create and the journal to reverse

3. Click Accept

4. Click Select

   1. The program selects all work orders associated with the journal you are reversing.

5. If no errors are reported, click Output-Post to post the reversal journal.

• Once a journal is reversed, it is available to post again

• The reversal process select specific work orders to reverse, instead of creating and processing an entire active set of records

• When a journal of status 8 - Accounting Complete is reversed, its status is set back to 7 - Work Complete
