Past announcements displayed after signing into TA

Description of Issue

After an update to the latest version of the 2023 branch, old inactive announcements displayed under the clock in/out screen upon signing in.

Cause

Resolution

  • In the earlier versions of Time & Attendance old messages were made inactive not deleted, which use to be supported.

  • The inactive feature is no longer an option under announcements in the latest version.

  • When the new announcement was put into the system, the old ones were converted and the new ones utilized a date range to determine their active status.
