Description of Issue

User need to retrieve miscellaneous description in Receipt Inquiry from database for building a custom report

Context

  • Enterprise ERP Version 2019.1 and above

  • SSRS Reports

Cause

View database column option show field as derived

Resolution

To view this field in Enterprise ERP, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to EERP Menu > Financials > Cash Management > Cash Receipts and Daily Processing > Receipt Inquiry

  2. Miscellaneous description is located under Journal Information section

This field is available through table AccountsReceivable.ReceiptLineJournalAccountOverrides under the column Comment.

Additional Information

Note that this field is not available through a TRS view, so any user who will need to run a report utilizing this table will need to have db_datareader permission in the database.

Please reach out to EERP Reporting Services Support team, as this permission need to be granted on the database server.
