How to remove JFSRVR after migrating printers from another server

Context

  • Server Migration

  • Printers

  • Print Management

Cause

Server migration is complete or in progress and JFSRVR still exists in Print Management

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the target server where JFSRVR still exists

  2. Hit WIN + R

  3. Type Print Management and hit ENTER

  4. Click Print Servers

  5. Click the print server name

  6. Click Printers

  7. Right-click on the JFSRVR printer

  8. Click Delete
