Description of Issue

How to view the error logs for the Munis Internet Update (MIU).



Context

Cause

MIU failed to update and you would like to look at the log file. 



Resolution

  1. Log onto the Munis Application server as tylerservice

  2. Open File Explorer

  3. Browse to C:\ProgramData\munis\InternetUpdate\

  4. Right click on MIUerror.log and view with notepad++

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the document to view the latest errors.
