Quick History tab displays code name instead of description



Description of Issue

When reviewing employee records in Employee Master File Inquiry the Actions History Description field is populated with the Code and not the description 



Context
  • Enterprise ERP

  • Employee Master File Inquiry

  • Personnel Settings



Cause

The checkbox to display the Description Field is not checked in Personnel Settings



Resolution

Navigate to Enterprise ERP > Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Personnel Setup > Personnel Settings > Quick History 

  1.  Click Update 

  2.  Review the Types of Data section

    1.  Check the Include Actions History checkbox

  3.  Review the Fields to Display section

    1.  Check the Include Description checkbox

  4.  Click Accept to save
