UB control fiscal year is not the same as the GL Fiscal Year

Description of Issue

Received the error UB control fiscal year XXXX is not the same as the GL Fiscal Year XXXX when accessing Generate AR step in bill run

Context

Utility Billing

Start of new fiscal year

Cause

Incomplete setup of GL and Journal information for new fiscal year

Resolution

User should reach out to their Financials team to have the new fiscal year opened along with having the General Ledger and Journal Number Control settings updated to reflect the new fiscal year.

If site does not use General Ledger (Financials) modules, General Ledger Support can be contacted to update the GL Fiscal Year. Please see: When Not Using General Ledger - Need to Update the Current Year
If site uses General Ledger (Financials) modules, the fiscal year end close process may need to be manually processed by the site. Please see: How to find the Year End Checklist
