Description of Issue

I am receiving a warning message before I create my W-2s stating: WARNING: W-2 records already exist for 2019. Creating new records will replace existing records. All manual editing will be lost.

  • W-2 Processing
Cause

W-2 records had already been generated by another user.

Resolution

User can proceed understanding that Munis will remove all previously generated W-2 records. This will also result in a loss of all manual adjustment that have been made.
